(Photo/Central News Agency) (ECNS) -- A 6.9-magnitude earthquake hit eastern Taiwan's Hualien County at 2:44 p.m. Sunday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). A building in Hualien was reported to have collapsed and casualty was unknow so far. The epicenter was monitored at 23.15 degrees north latitude and 121.30 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 10 kilometers, the CENC said. The earthquake followed a 6.5-magnitude quake in eastern Taiwan's Taitung County at 9:41 p.m. Saturday Beijing Time |
