China begins evacuating nationals from Ukraine

(ECNS) -- China began evacuating its first group of nationals from Ukraine on Monday, according to the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine.

The first batch of students left Kyiv for Moldova from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv on Monday. The Chinese embassy in Ukraine is coordinating with local police to ensure their security.

More students will be evacuated on Tuesday.
